Tyler Ross Game Report: vs Bridgewater-Raynham

St. John Paul II had to settle for second on Monday, but Tyler Ross sure wasn't going down easily. Ross wasn't messing around, striking out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was his third straight with one or fewer earned runs.

Looking ahead, Ross and St. John Paul II will challenge Archbishop Williams at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Ross' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Lions' nine-game streak of wins at home.
