Basketball Recap: Sundown Comes Up Short

Sundown lost to Seagraves back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Roughnecks took a 59-42 bruising from the Eagles.

Sundown has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Seagraves, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sundown will challenge rival Ropes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Seagraves is set to square off against their familiar foe Morton at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
