Baseball Recap: Fairfax HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Fairfax HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 10-3 to the NOVA HomeSchool Lions. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 9-2.

Caleb Alberts was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Silas Yoho was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Fairfax HomeSchool's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-6. As for NOVA HomeSchool, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfax HomeSchool will square off against Fredericksburg V at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for NOVA HomeSchool, they will take on Avalon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
