Softball Game Preview: Radford Bobcats vs. Galax Maroon Tide

The Radford Bobcats will face off against the Galax Maroon Tide at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Radford is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Radford fell victim to Glenvar and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Highlanders, falling 13-0.

Meanwhile, Galax lost 20-2 to Auburn on Tuesday. The Maroon Tide have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maddson Bobbitt was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Leonard, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Radford's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Galax, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Radford has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Galax struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
