Baseball Recap: Desert Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Desert can now relate to. They came up short against the Riverdale Cowboys on Friday, falling 6-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Scorpions haven't been shut out since back in March.

Desert has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Riverdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-16 record this season.

Desert does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverdale, they will challenge Fresno Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
