The Farragut Admirals will challenge the Dickson County Cougars on Tuesday. Farragut's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Dickson County's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Farragut lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Science Hill, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Admirals put the hurt on the Hilltoppers with a sharp 10-3 win on Friday. Considering the Admirals have won 17 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Dickson County waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 2-0. The Cougars' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three contests.

Not much got past Coralee Grove, who gave up just four hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Arlington off the board. Grove has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

Dickson County hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arlington struck out seven times.

Dickson County's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-13. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Farragut, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-11-1 record this season.
