The Green Canyon Wolves will take on the Highland Rams in a tournament on Monday. Green Canyon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.7 points per game this season.

Green Canyon is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Maple Mountain, who was ranked 25th at the time (Green Canyon was ranked 12th). The Wolves fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 56-54 on Friday. The Wolves' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Despite their defeat, Green Canyon saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Mya Hinds, who went 7-for-16 on her way to 16 points and eight rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Hinds has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Talyssa Nelson was another key player, shooting 42% from the field en route to 13 points.

Meanwhile, Highland came up short against Jerome last Thursday and fell 50-40.
