Jett Fletcher Turns in Season-Best Performance

Sadly, Jett Fletcher posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Wills Point over Ferris on Friday. Fletcher rushed for 209 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September. Wills Point is 4-1 when Fletcher posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise.

This year, Fletcher has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 136.8 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had five passing touchdowns.

Mcneal Made His Presence Known in Ferris' 42-40 Win

This year, Mcneal has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 104.2 passing yards per game.

For the year, Cotton has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 36.4 receiving yards per game.

Cayson Maupin and Co. Win Fifth in a Row

Cayson Maupin's big game helped extend Sunnyvale's winning streak to five on Friday. Maupin was dynamite, throwing for 191 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 40 yards. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played.

If history really does repeat itself, Maupin might just drop another big game when he faces off against Caddo Mills on Friday. When Maupin last faced Caddo Mills back in September, he threw for 283 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt.
