Basketball Recap: Pillager Huskies vs. Park Rapids Panthers
Pillager lost against Park Rapids back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pillager Huskies fell 91-82 to the Park Rapids Panthers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (68), the Huskies still had to take the loss.
Park Rapids got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Carroll out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 boards. The match was Carroll's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Landon Strasburg, who posted 25 points in addition to five assists and three steals.
Pillager's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Park Rapids, the victory also got them back to even at 3-3.
