Softball Recap: Garden Grove Takes a Loss

Garden Grove managed to slip by Segerstrom the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Argonauts lost 12-4 to the Jaguars on Wednesday. The Argonauts were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jaguars earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Garden Grove saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nevaeh Sosa, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Garden Grove dropped their record down to 11-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Segerstrom, they moved to 11-12 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Garden Grove will take on Kennedy at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Segerstrom, they will welcome Fullerton at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
