Archbishop Moeller had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Grove City Greyhounds an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Fighting Crusaders, who have now won 15 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Archbishop Moeller's ninth in a row) raised their record to 24-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Grove City, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-10.

As of now, neither Archbishop Moeller nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
