In what's become a running theme this season, Albertus Magnus gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Irvington Bulldogs as the Albertus Magnus Falcons made off with an 18-2 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Albertus Magnus also won the last time the pair played last Friday.

Aiden Iazzetti made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Iazzetti was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

In other batting news, Albertus Magnus got a massive performance out of Joseph Dwyer, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Dwyer is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Connor Benvenuto, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.

Albertus Magnus' victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Irvington, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.

Albertus Magnus will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Scarsdale at 11:00 a.m. Irvington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
