             Point Loma and Lincoln are an even 4-4 against one another  since September of 2014, but  not for long. The Point Loma Pointers are on the road again  on Friday to play the Lincoln Hornets at 7:00  p.m.
 Last Friday, Point Loma lost to Madison on the road  by a   21-7 margin. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Pointers in their matchups with the Warhawks: they've now lost four in a row.
 Meanwhile, Lincoln faced Los Alamitos in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Lincoln came out on top against Los Alamitos by a score of  24-14. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Hornets.
 It was another big night for  Aden Jackson, who rushed for 256 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 14.2 yards per carry. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards.
 Lincoln was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 325  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 One reason for the win was Lincoln's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. Leading the way was  Dylon Dunn with  two. Another thorn in Los Alamitos' side was  Prince Tavizon, who picked up  a  sack and made 12 total tackles.
 Point Loma's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lincoln, their record now sits at 4-2.

Thankfully for Point Loma,  Samuel Cooper (who threw for 317 yards and six touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground) won't be suiting up this time.
