Florence entered their tilt with Apache Junction on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Prospectors with a sharp 3-0 win. The Gophers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 10th (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Florence was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-10, 25-7.

Among those leading the charge was Lexie Hoffman, who had seven digs and six aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Hoffman wasn't the only good servers: Florence was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 26 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Florence's victory bumped their record up to 25-10. As for Apache Junction, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Florence wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Globe on the 23rd. As for Apache Junction, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Seton Catholic on the 23rd.
