Dover won the last time they faced Zanesville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Dover Crimson Tornadoes were the clear victor by a 65-40 margin over the Zanesville Blue Devils. The Crimson Tornadoes pushed the score to 58-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Blue Devils cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the defeat, Zanesville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lucca Wood went 6-for-9 on his way to 15 points.

The victory got Dover back to even at 11-11. As for Zanesville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Coming up, Dover will take on Tri-Valley in a tournament on Friday. Tri-Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully Dover likes a good challenge. Zanesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
