Basketball Recap: Duke Takes a Loss

Duke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 48-31 bruising from the Sweetwater Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 46-30 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Duke's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Sweetwater, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Duke will host Tipton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sweetwater, they will welcome Blair at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
