Basketball Recap: Rocky Mount Academy Victorious

Rocky Mount Academy won the last time they faced Wilson Christian Academy, and Hank Berry did his part to make sure it happened again. The Rocky Mount Academy Eagles claimed a resounding 57-30 win over the Wilson Christian Academy Chargers thanks in part to Berry, who posted 16 points. His evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Wyatt Wells was another key player, putting up four points and ten rebounds. He is becoming a predictor of Rocky Mount Academy's success: when he posts at least ten rebounds the team is 5-2 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Rocky Mount Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Wilson Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-12.

Rocky Mount Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Kerr-Vance Academy at 5:00 p.m. As for Wilson Christian Academy, they will challenge Calvary Christian at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
