A well-balanced attack led Charlotte Catholic over Garinger in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Charlotte Catholic Cougars blew the Garinger Wildcats out of the water with a 91-47 final score. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Charlotte Catholic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chris Eagan out in front who went 6 of 10 en route to 13 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jack Siegel, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 13 points.

Charlotte Catholic was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Garinger saw an underclassman step up: freshman Aaron Lawler went 10 of 20 en route to 28 points in addition to six assists and five boards. Lawler is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. Julian Soup was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Charlotte Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.2 points per game. As for Garinger, they dropped their record down to 2-17 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
