Basketball Recap: Pell City Comes Up Short

Pell City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 69-24 defeat at the hands of the Oxford Yellow Jackets. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Pell City's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Oxford, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Pell City and Arab will compete for holiday cheer at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oxford, they will be home for the holidays to greet Trinity Christian at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
