Soccer Recap: Germantown Takes a Loss

Germantown lost against Madison Central back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Germantown Mavericks came up short against the Madison Central Jaguars, falling 6-1. The Mavericks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Germantown has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7-1 record this season. As for Madison Central, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Tupelo the next time they take the pitch. Germantown will host Tupelo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Madison Central will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on January 14th.
