Recap: Eastern Greene Thunderbirds vs. Greenwood Woodmen
The Eastern Greene Thunderbirds won the last time they faced the Greenwood Woodmen, and things went their way on Saturday too. Eastern Greene strolled past Greenwood with points to spare, taking the game 65-51. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Eastern Greene.
Keylee Hudson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 33 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Bianca Wyatt was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Eastern Greene's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Greenwood, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
Eastern Greene will be playing at home against Shakamak at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Shakamak is ranked 167th, while Eastern Greene is ranked 157th). As for Greenwood, Greenwood and Decatur Central will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
