Highland Springs picks up 12th straight win on the road

Make it nine blowout wins for the Highland Springs Springers this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Patrick Henry 85-8 on the road. While fans of Highland Springs might be used to big wins, the 77-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.

Ah'kiyah Pye was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points. Kerah Paige was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Highland Springs' win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points per game. As for Patrick Henry, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Highland Springs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Henrico has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 394 points over their last six matches. As for Patrick Henry, they will head out on the road to face off against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mechanicsville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Patriots in Virginia (the Mustangs are ranked 125th, while the Patriots are ranked 370th).
