Soccer Game Preview: Romeo vs. Huron

The Romeo Bulldogs will challenge the Huron River Rats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Romeo fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Friday's season opener. They never let Chippewa Valley get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for Romeo in their matchups with Chippewa Valley: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Huron was able to grind out a solid win over Chelsea on Saturday, taking the game 3-1.

Romeo came out on top in a nail-biter against Huron in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
