Soccer Recap: Slippery Rock Starts off Right with Win over Conneaut Area

Slippery Rock had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They beat the Conneaut Area Eagles by a goal, winning 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Slippery Rock were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Shareen Thangiah.

Coming up, Slippery Rock will face off against Sharpsville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Conneaut Area, they will challenge Hickory at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
