Baseball Recap: Henry County Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Henry County won the last time they faced Calloway County and things went their way on Monday too. The Patriots came out on top against the Lakers by a score of 5-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Jack Todd looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Peyten Littleton, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Brock Archie, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Henry County's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-9. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Calloway County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Henry County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Calloway County, they will challenge Graves County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
