Shelby kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Cabarrus Wolverines.

Shelby wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-43 win against Kings Mountain on the 20th. As for West Cabarrus, they have also already played their next contest, a 61-57 victory against Butler on the 20th.
