Roseville came tearing into Thursday's match with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the River Valley Falcons as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Roseville's got stronger as the match went on, holding River Valley to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-19.

Leading Roseville to victory were Brylie Beltran and Alyssa McGinnis. Beltran had 18 digs and two aces, while McGinnis had four digs and three aces. Beltran is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Roseville was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in 11 consecutive matchups.

Roseville's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for River Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.

Roseville has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Oakdale on the 11th. As for River Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Yuba City on the 14th.
