Soccer Game Preview: Mountain View vs. Bowie

The Mountain View Lobos are taking a road trip to take on the Bowie Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Clint who was credited with the win on Friday. Clint got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Mountain View's two.

Last Friday, Bowie earned a 3-1 victory over Riverside. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

They hit Riverside with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Miranda Varela, Samantha Tarango, and Kenya Contreras.

Bowie's win bumped their record up to 5-8-1. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Mountain View came up short against Bowie in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Mountain View avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
