Football Recap: Amsterdam Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Amsterdam was riding high fresh off their 34-0 takedown of Schenectady last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams came up short against the Ballston Spa Scotties on Friday, falling 27-6. The matchup was a 6-6 toss-up at halftime, but the Rams couldn't quite close it out.

Luis Tirado threw for 162 yards and one TD while completing 74.1% of his passes. Rocco Natale Jr was his top target, picking up 80 receiving yards.

Amsterdam now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ballston Spa, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Amsterdam and Ballston Spa will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Rams are set to square off against their familiar foe La Salle Institute at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ballston Spa will take on rival Queensbury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
