Worthington Christian made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Grandview Heights, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Warriors fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 9-7 on Wednesday. Warriors fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Bobcats since on Wednesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Worthington Christian and nudges their season record down to 9-9. As for Grandview Heights, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Worthington Christian and Grandview Heights should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Warriors will square off against Fredericktown at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (295 vs. 601). Meanwhile, Grandview Heights (ranked 223rd) will meet Fairbanks (ranked 548th) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
