Bethany Community entered their tilt with Oak Ridge Military Academy on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Eagles 19-0. Considering the Wolves have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gavin Washburn and Ryan Rudd were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Washburn pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Rudd pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Washburn has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. At the plate, Washburn went 2-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base, while Rudd scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave Rudd a new career-high.

In other batting news, Cohen Brame was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Martin, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Bethany Community's record now sits at 12-3. As for Oak Ridge Military Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bethany Community beat the Eagles by a score of 14-2 later that day.
