Football Game Preview: Macon Tigers vs. Brookfield Bulldogs

The Macon Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Brookfield Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Macon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 48-6 victory over Mark Twain.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Brookfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in October. They blew past Milan, posting a 52-14 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their six-point performance the matchup before.

Macon is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.6 points over those games. As for Brookfield, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Macon took a serious blow against Brookfield in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, falling 34-0. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
