Weston Ranch's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Franklin Yellowjackets 16-15. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Baylee Santiago was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Gigi Gheith, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Weston Ranch kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

The victory got Weston Ranch back to even at 8-8. As for Franklin, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Weston Ranch will face off against Stagg at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklin, they will square off against McNair at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
