Softball Game Preview: Clark Chargers vs. Bonanza Bengals

Clark hasn't had much luck against Bonanza recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Clark Chargers are headed away from home for the first time to take on the Bonanza Bengals at 3:30 p.m.

While Clark's win against Bonanza wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Clark skirted past Bonanza 8-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Clark got a big performance out of Allison Reed, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Paola Garcia was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2.

Clark always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .643. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bonanza only posted an OBP of .444.

Clark skirted past Bonanza 8-7 when the teams last played on Wednesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clark since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
