Basketball Recap: Christchurch School Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Christchurch School, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They managed a 66-61 victory over the Veritas School Lions on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-43 back in January.

Despite the defeat, Veritas School saw an underclassman step up: sophomore London Smith posted 29 points. Those 29 points set a new season-high mark for Smith. Chandler Davidson was another key player, putting up 14 points and five assists.

Christchurch School's win bumped their record up to 8-17. As for Veritas School, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11.

As of now, neither Christchurch School nor Veritas School have any future games scheduled.
