The Riverside Prep Silver Knights will head out on the road to take on the Big Bear Bears at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.

Riverside Prep lost a heartbreaker the last time they played University Prep, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's match. The Silver Knights blew past the Jaguars 10-4 on Thursday. The Silver Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Bree Garcia was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Liliana Cazares, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Daisy Hernandez, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Riverside Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 11 consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, neither Big Bear nor Santa Ana could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for an 8-8 tie.

Riverside Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. With that tie, Big Bear's record moves to 8-7-2.
