Basketball Game Preview: Solon Comets vs. Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs

The Solon Comets will venture away from home to square off against the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Solon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Stow-Munroe Falls likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Solon earned a 57-48 win over Nordonia.

Meanwhile, Stow-Munroe Falls made easy work of Hudson on Tuesday and carried off a 55-29 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Stow-Munroe Falls has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Solon, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Solon beat Stow-Munroe Falls 60-53 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Solon since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
