Basketball Recap: Heide Trask Has No Trouble Against West Columbus

Heide Trask came into Tuesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the West Columbus Vikings 47-23 on Tuesday. The game marked the Titans' most dominant victory of the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heide Trask to victory, but perhaps none more so than Scarlett Dickson, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Dickson a new career-high in steals (seven). Alanah Watkins was another key player, going 6 of 13 on her way to 14 points and three steals.

Heide Trask's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12. As for West Columbus, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Heide Trask and Pender will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for West Columbus, they will challenge East Bladen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. East Bladen will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something West Columbus surely won't give up without a fight.
