White Bear Lake fell victim to Park and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Wolfpack by a score of 2-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Wolfpack: they've now lost three in a row.

Lilly Martin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

White Bear Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Park, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White Bear Lake will host Woodbury at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Park, they will welcome Irondale at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.5 runs per game on average), something the Wolfpack will no doubt try to take advantage of.
