Basketball Recap: Potlatch Wins Going Away Against Hagerman

On Friday, the Potlatch Loggers didn't have too much trouble with the Hagerman Pirates as they won 67-48. The Loggers pushed the score to 60-40 by the end of the third, a deficit the Pirates cut but never quite recovered from.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ky Kendall, who posted 24 points. Kendall is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season. Casen Knight was another key player, putting up 14 points and three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Potlatch and bumps their season record up to 2-1. As for Hagerman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Potlatch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-63 defeat against Logos on the 17th. As for Hagerman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-44 loss against Lapwai on the 14th.
