Baseball Recap: Bishop Ireton Takes a Loss

Bishop Ireton came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Gonzaga Eagles, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 on April 1st.

Bishop Ireton has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season. As for Gonzaga, they pushed their record up to 15-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Bishop Ireton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Gonzaga has already played their next contest (against Our Lady of Good Counsel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
