Rogers and Deer Park are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Rogers Pirates will face off against the Deer Park Stags at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

While losing is never fun, the Stags can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 319th, while the Wolfpack are ranked 73rd).

Rogers has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points over those games. As for Deer Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.

Everything came up roses for Rogers against Deer Park in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 97-67 victory. In that contest, Rogers amassed a halftime lead of 51-29, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
