Volleyball Game Preview: Calhoun Christian Cougars vs. Athens Indians

The Calhoun Christian Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Athens Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Calhoun Christian came up short against Jackson Christian and fell 3-1. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Athens didn't have quite enough to beat Quincy on Tuesday and fell 1-0.

Athens' loss dropped their record down to 12-31. As for Calhoun Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-19-2.

Calhoun Christian couldn't quite get it done against Athens when the teams last played back in October as they fell 2-0. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
