Softball Recap: West Point Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, West Point finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They lost 15-1 to the Middlesex Chargers. The Pointers have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

West Point's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Middlesex, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chargers beat West Point by a score of 15-1 later that day.
