Basketball Recap: Homestead's Winning Streak Snapped at Nine Games

It was a good run, but Homestead unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell to the Nicolet Knights 70-64. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-72 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nicolet to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rashaad Davis, who shot 53% from the field to rack up 24 points along with six boards and five assists. Davis' big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 23 points. David Bolden was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to eight assists and seven rebounds.

Homestead's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Nicolet, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-6.

As of now, neither Homestead nor Nicolet have any future games scheduled.
