Soccer Recap: Easthampton/Hampshire Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Easthampton/Hampshire took on Central on Wednesday. The Eagles lost 10-0 to the Golden Eagles. While losing is never fun, Easthampton/Hampshire can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 204th, while Central are ranked 56th).

Easthampton/Hampshire dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Central, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1-1.

Looking ahead, Easthampton/Hampshire will challenge Wahconah Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Central, they will face off against South Hadley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
