Basketball Recap: Francis Scott Key Takes a Loss

Francis Scott Key lost against South Carroll back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Francis Scott Key Eagles fell 73-63 to the South Carroll Cavaliers.

Francis Scott Key dropped their record down to 5-17 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for South Carroll, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles face off against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Francis Scott Key knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Winters Mill likes a good challenge. South Carroll does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
