Football Recap: Weleetka Outlaws vs. Thackerville Wildcats
Weleetka won against Cyril last Friday with 50 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Weleetka Outlaws claimed a resounding 50-0 victory over the Thackerville Wildcats at home. Weleetka pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Thackerville, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2.
Weleetka will venture away from home to square off against Strother at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Weleetka knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Strother likes a good challenge. As for Thackerville, they will face off against Wetumka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
