Softball Recap: Cayuga Comes Up Short

Cayuga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-0 to the Cross Roads Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Tuesday.

Cayuga's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Cross Roads, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cayuga is set to take on their familiar foe Frankston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cross Roads will square off against rival Trinidad at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
