Football Game Preview: Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains vs. Northwood Rangers

The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains will face off against the Northwood Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Hopewell-Loudon was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Willard on Friday. The Chieftains took their game with ease, bagging a 54-6 victory over the Crimson Flashes. Considering the Chieftains have won five contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Northwood had to suffer through a 61-34 loss at the hands of Woodmore. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (32), the Rangers still had to take the loss.

Hopewell-Loudon's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Northwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
